Tammy Sue Devitt
Tammy Sue Devitt, 35, Minot died in her step daughter’s home the morning of January 29, 2010.
Tammy was born to Elizabeth (Cooper) Rayburn in Cochran GA. Moved to Uvalda, GA when she was 3, and then to Warner Robins when she was 6 where we met her step-father Larry Rayburn.
Moved to Oklahoma, where she attended grade school in Olustee. Then we moved to Minot, ND where she attended high school at Central Campus and graduated in the top of the class at Magic City Campus in 1992. Where she met her husband Daniel "D" Devitt.
They moved to Hawaii where he was stationed in the Army. She lost a baby girl, Dianne Elizabeth there. They were then stationed at Fort Riley, KS where she studied nursing and gave birth to 2 little boys Tyler Shane and Devon Mitchell.
She is preceded in death by her step-father and grandparents on both sides and her little girl.
She is survived by her mother and 3 sisters and 2 brothers her 2 sons, her partner of 11 years Stephanie whom she met in 1999; her partners children and 5 grandchildren.
Tammy was a loving daughter, wife, mother and life partner and will be missed by all who came to know her.
Memorial Gathering: Thursday, March 4, 2010 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Immediately following the memorial gathering, everyone is invited to join the family at Elizabeth’s residence, located at 301 Skalenda Street in Deering, for a time of lunch and fellowship.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at Rosehill Memorial Park.
Tammy’s family would like to thank everyone for the many acts of kindness shown to them during this difficult time. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten. May God bless the memory of Tammy.
