Diane Degenstein 1954 - 2005

Diane Degenstein, 50, 400 18th Ave SE, Minot, ND, died Friday, April 22, 2005, in a Minot hospital.

Diane LaVon Kerzman was born on October 30, 1954, the daughter of Dennis and LaVonne (Anderson) Kerzman in Minot, North Dakota. She graduated from Velva High School in 1972.

She provided daycare for 10 years in her home. She was also employed as a custodian for the Minot Public Schools for a number of years. Diane was once married to Daniel Degenstein.

Diane was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church and also attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, both of Minot. She enjoyed playing bingo and pinochle.

Surviving family includes: daughters: Lisa (Ole) Bergstad and Amy (Sean) Spencer, both of Minot;
grandchildren: Shyanne, Kassidy, Samantha, and Blaize.step-grandchildren: Bradley, Alex, and Lacy.
father: Dennis Kerzman of Minot;brothers: Brian Kerzman of Bismarck; Donald Kerzman of Howells, NE; Tom Kerzman of Glendive, MT; Jerry Kerzman of Redlands, CA; and Bruce Kerzman of Minot;
several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Diane was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephany Degenstein; mother, LaVonne; brother, John Kerzman; and grandparents, Sigrid and Oscar Anderson; and John and Hilder Kerzman;

Memorial Service: Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot, ND.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.

Visitation: There will be no reviewal but friends may sign the register book on Monday from Noon until 5 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
