Margaret Davis • 1913 - 2003 Margaret Davis, 90, Minot, died Tuesday, October 28, 2003, at a Minot nursing home. She was born on February 8, 1913, in Drake, ND, the daughter of John and Kate (Loesch) Anton. She was reared and educated in Drake. She worked in cafes for many years doing cooking and pastry work. Margaret married Frank Davis in Oklahoma on March 17, 1945. Following the war they moved back to North Dakota and lived in Carrington and Butte. Frank passed away on March 24, 1967. Margaret later move to Velva, ND, and worked in the Tavern Bar and later the Mint Bar until she retired in 1985. In February of 1999, Margaret entered Manorcare Nursing Home. Survivors: sister, Catherine (Maurice) Selberg, Paradise, CA, Marie Sandhofner, Minot, and Minnie Quammen, Froid, MT. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, her son, Thomas Anton, sisters, Gertrude Fadness and Annie Armstrong, and brothers, Billy, John and Donald Anton. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 31, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. at the Thompson-Larson funeral Home Chapel, Minot. Visitation: Thursday, October 30, 2003, from Noon until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial: Butte Community Cemetery, Butte, ND. Burial
