Shirley L. Davick • 1926 - 2005 Shirley L. Davick, 78, Milliken, Co. formerly of Minot, ND, died Saturday, January 1, 2005 in Greeley Co. Shirley was born May 29, 1926 the daughter of Rueben and Lilly (Arne) Torgerson, in Bode, Iowa. As a small child, she moved with her family to Minot, ND, where Shirley was reared and educated. She graduated from Minot Model High and from the Minot State Teachers College. In 1945, Shirley married Wallace Davick in Seattle, WA, while he was stationed in the US. Navy. Wallace died in 1981. Shirley had been a resident of the Johnstown-Milliken area since 1985. Those who shared in her life: sons, Richard W. (Catherine) Davick, Round Lake Heights, IL; Michael W. (Cindy Fiddler) Davick, Milliken, CO; daughter, Deanna S. Davick, Marcell, MN; sister, Rose Johnson, Burbank, CA; 11 grandchildren, Paige Holter, Kim Holly, Christopher Forseberg, Jeremy Davick, Eva Davick, Shannon Davick, Josh Davick, Jennifer Davick, Michelle Davick, Michael Davick, and Mechole Davick. 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Wallace and her parents, Rueben and Lilly. Memorial Service: Monday, January 10, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.
