Agnes Cushing 1927 - 2009 Agnes Leom was born on February 16, 1927, in Follebu, Norway, a daughter of Nekolae and Anna (Amundson) Leom. When she was a year and a half old, her family immigrated to the US and to Bonetraill, ND. On April 11, 1947, Agnes was united in marriage to Alfred H. Cushing in Sidney, MT. They made their home and farmed in the Arnegard area until moving to Williston in 1953. In 1963 they moved to Minot where Agnes worked for Aasen Landscaping and later Magic Mile Market. Alfred died September 11, 2004. Agnes was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Rebekahs, Odd Fellows, and Moose Lodge. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, husband Alfred, son Robert “Bobby” Cushing, and sister Marie Marden.
