Andrew Crockett - 2005 Andrew Crockett, 15, 1716 7th St. NW, Minot, ND, died Thursday, April 7, 2005, at Trinity hospital in Minot. Andrew Steven Crockett was born on July 21, 1989, the son of Robert Steven and Carla Rae (Chaput) Crockett in Davenport, Iowa. His family moved to Springfield, IL, in September of 1989, and in October of 1992, moved to Minot. Andrew attended Little Flower Catholic Pre-school. He attended Kindergarten through the 5th grade at North Hill Elementary School. He was a student at Bishop Ryan High School from 6th grade until this, his freshman year. He was an active member in the scouting program for nine years. He was active in Cub Scout Pack #425, where he earned the Cub Scout highest honor, "The Arrow of Light". While in the Boy Scout Troop #425, Andrew enjoyed camping and spending time with his dad. Andrew was currently at the rank of Life Scout with only his Eagle project to complete. Andrew loved sports. During his years of school, he was active in football, basketball, and track. He also liked to bowl and play baseball. Basketball was his love, as he was a member of the Magic City Heat traveling basketball team for four years. In addition to the sports he played, he also participated in piano, band, and the Jr. Varsity Jazz Band. He was a percussionist, who loved to play the drums. He was also a member of the Jr. High Honor Society. He was elected class president by his peers during his 7th and 8th grade years. He was also a member of the student council at Bishop Ryan. He was an Altar Server for five years at Our Lady of Grace and enjoyed going to Sonshine Bible Camp. Andrew loved spending time with his friends, cousins, and family. He loved chatting online with friends on MSN, playing video games and just hanging out. Surviving family includes: parents: Robert and Carla Crockett
