Tina O. Covell • 1910 - 2002

Tina O. Covell, 91, Gresham, OR, formerly of Granville, died Thursday, April 11, 2002, at the Regency at Gresham Care Facility.

Tina was born June 13, 1910, in Deering, ND, the daughter of Casper and Christina (Sjurson) Torgrimson. She was raised and educated in the Deering area.
She lived in Granville for numerous years and then moved to Minot. She later retired and moved to Portland, Oregon where she since had lived.

She was a member of the Lutheran churches in the communities in which she lived. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Alfalfa Meade Club in Granville.

Survivors: Daughters, Elaine Forsyth, Gresham, OR, and Ardell Fry and her husband Edson, Velva; son, Robert M. Covell, Big Bear City, CA; eight grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Clara C. Torgrimson Hamilton, North Bend, OR. She was preceded in death by her sons, Marlyn and Casper "Bud" Covell; her parents, and four brothers.

Funeral: Friday, April 19, 2002, at 1:00 p.m., at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Friends may sign the register Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to service time at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Burial: Granville Cemetery, Granville, ND.
