Kenneth Johann Cook 1950 - 2004 Kenneth Johann Cook, 54, 20500 111th St. NE, Glenburn, ND, died Monday, September 13, 2004 in a Minot hospital. Ken was born on January 28, 1950 in Minot, ND, the son of Johann and Freda (Kubler) Cook. He was raised on a farm near Willow City, ND until 1955 when his family moved to Minot. He attended various schools in the area. He lived in Seattle, WA, Donnybrook, ND, Tolley, ND, Glenburn, ND and Minot, ND. His jobs throughout his life included grave digging in Seattle, working construction in various areas, working for an auto wrecking company, and as a self employed house painter. Ken loved to hunt, fish and fix cars and electronics. When he was younger, he trapped with his father and uncle, Clarence Kubler. He loved to tinker and could fix anything. Survivors: Ken's Girls, Christie Hanson, Cindy McCauley and Lisa Lindquist all of Minot; aunt and uncle, Lena Benjamin, Minot and Otto Kubler, Burbank, CA. Many other aunts and uncles through marriage and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Freda and Johann Cook and a brother, Donald Cook. Funeral: Friday, September 17, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Augustana Lutheran Church, Minot, ND. Burial: Privately at a later time. Visitation: Thursday, today, from noon until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND. Memorials will be used to place a memorial tribute at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.
