Beverly A. Colvin • 1932 - 2009 Beverly Ann Stults was born March 13, 1932 in Ryder, ND a daughter of Charles and Ruth (Croix) Stults. She was raised in Ryder and attended Ryder Public School. On March 15, 1950 she married Arthur Stene in Minot. He died September 28, 1982. Beverly resided in Ryder, Minot and Garrison. She worked at Erna's Restaurant, Artistry In Hair Fashions and at Minot State University. She married Donald R. Colvin on August 15, 1986 in Minot. Donald died July 25, 1992. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Eagles Auxiliary and First Presbyterian Church, all in Minot. Those who shared in her life, daughters, Linda (Bill) Baisden, East Pointe, MI, Judy (Randy) Hoffer, Devils Lake, ND and Nancy (Curt) Clementich, Karlsruhe, ND; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Kay Montano of Mexico and Evelyn Preston, Minot; brothers, Charles and Ray Stults both of California; numerous nieces and nephews survive. Beverly was preceded in death by her husbands, Arthur Stene and Donald Colvin; her parents and one sister, Lucille Preston. Funeral: Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Visitation: There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign the guest register Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot, ND. Officiating Clergy: Rev. Don Andrews, Chaplain at Trinity Health, Minot Music Honorary Bearers: Bill Baisden, Curt Clementich, Marc Clementich, Randy Hoffer, Greg Hoffer, Jacob Hoffer Beverly’s family would like to thank everyone for the many acts of kindness shown during this difficult time.
