Katherine J. Clouse • 1934 - 2008 Katherine was born on January 20, 1934, the daughter of Fred and Grace (Watkins) Davis in Pennsylvania. Due to an illness when Katherine was 15 months old, she was raised by a grandmother, Annie L. Watkins, her aunt, Annie Watkins, and an uncle, David "Teber" Watkins. She was raised and educated in Pennsylvania and graduated from high school in 1951. In 1953, Katherine moved to North Dakota from Indian Town Gap, PA, with Andy Clouse, who was honorably discharged from the US Army. They eventually settled in Burlington, where she was a homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, gardening, and playing golf. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed by all that knew her. She was a former member of Our Redeemer's Lutheran Brethren Church, Minot. Those who shared in her life: husband, Andy, Burlington; children, Katherine (Randall Sr.) Earley, Chester Gap, VA, Andrew M. Clouse, Burlington, Linda (Dan) Miller, Burlington, Lora (Jeffrey) Martin, Minot, Jeffrey "Festus" Clouse, Burlington, Timothy (Caroline) Clouse, Burlington; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings: Grace Nagy, PA, Beatrice Whyte, PA, Doris Manns, PA, Ruth Ann Cornman, FL, Helen Williams, SC, Roberta Bodner, PA, Donald Davis, TX; half siblings: Carolyn Smallback, NY, Doug Davis, MD, and Dennis Davis, PA. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by: her parents, step mother, Mary Davis, son, Lance Clouse, grandmother, Annie L. Watkins, aunt, Annie Watkins, uncle, David Watkins, brothers, Fred Davis, David W. Davis, Robert Davis, sister, Nancy Harbert; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, an infant sister, and an infant half-brother. Visitation: Wednesday, February 20, 2008, from noon
