Michael E. Choiniere 1964 - 2004 Michael E. Choiniere , 40, Karlsruhe, ND, died Sunday, May 16, 2004 of cancer at the VA Hospital in Fargo. Michael was born on February 11, 1964, in Rapid City, SD, the son of Paul J. and Bertha (Wald) Choiniere. He attended school in Karlsruhe and graduated from Karlsruhe High School in 1982. Following graduation he moved to Fort Worth, TX, where he worked at various jobs until 1987 when he joined the U.S. Army. He served in Korea, Panama, and Alaska, as well as other bases in the continental U.S. from 1987 until 1996. He was honorably discharged in 1996 and moved back to the Dallas/ Fort Worth area. He worked as a wholesale food distributor in Dallas and Fort Worth until January of 2004 when he moved back to Karlsruhe to live with his parents. Michael enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Michael was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Drake, ND, and a parishioner of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Karlsruhe. He is survived by his wife, Teri (Differding) Choiniere, Ft Worth, TX; daughter, Sara Choiniere, Ft Worth; parents, Paul and Bertha Choiniere, Karlsruhe; brothers, Frank and Gerard Choiniere, Ft Worth; sisters, Jeanette (John) Abel, Fort Collins, CO, Aimee (James) Newsom, Burleson, TX, and Louise (Brian) Austin, Encinitas, CA.
