Mutsuko Calhoun 1936 - 2008 Mutsuko Murakami was born on October 8, 1936, the daughter of Kazuki and Satsuko Murakami in Osaka Japan. She was raised and educated in Japan. On February 10, 1964, she was united in marriage to Clem Calhoun Jr. in Japan. Following their marriage they were stationed at several bases before moving to Minot Air Force Base. Mutsuko was a very devoted and loving spouse. Clem died March 29, 1999. She enjoyed baking, cooking, crocheting, knitting, fishing, and entertaining large groups of family and friends. Mutsuko is survived by her sons Jimmy Calhoun, of Minot, ND, Tommy Calhoun, of Seguin, TX, and Paul, (Fiancée-Nicole) Calhoun, of Bismarck, ND; daughter Susan (Jim) Overmeyer, of Minot, ND; five grandchildren: Mikey Calhoun, Christopher Bachar, Harriett Ruth Overmeyer, Kiyoko Faye Gerjets, and Kenji Jake Gerjets, and her three brothers currently living in Japan. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Mutsuko was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Clem. Visitation: Sunday, July 27, 2008 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND Funeral Service: Monday, July 28, 2008 at 10:30 AM at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel.
