Evelyn Burns • 1933 - 2002 Evelyn Burns, 69, Minot, died Sunday, September 29, 2002, in a Minot nursing care facility. She was born on April 2, 1933, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of John William and Alice Mae (Lamb) Fearon. She attended school in the Chicago area. She was once married to Orville Burns. She lived and worked in the Minot area for many years. She moved to ManorCare Health Services in 1998, and lived there until the time of her death. Survivors: children, Rita Volk, Wanda Schooler, Tony Gerle, and Kenneth Gerle Jr; 5 grandchildren, Troy Gunsch, Jeff Schooler, Tommy Volk, Robie Volk, and Jenny Volk; 3 great-grandchildren, Michael and Samantha Gunsch and Gunner McLeod. Several aunts, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Service: Wednesday, October 2, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND.
