Eugene Burner • 1924- 2011

Eugene Burner, 87, Minot, passed away Sunday November 6th, 2011 in a Minot Nursing Home.

Eugene was born on October 25, 1924, a son of Joseph and Anna (Kostek) Burner in Noonan, ND.  He was raised and educated in the Noonan area.

On January 25, 1945, Eugene enlisted in the United States Navy.  He proudly served his country until his honorable discharge June 28, 1946.

On October 21, 1949, Eugene was united in marriage to Deloris Evenson.  They made their home in Noonan where Eugene was employed with Tryus-Kostek Implement until moving to Minot in 1977.  Eugene was employed with Behm’s Family Fuel Company in Minot until he retired in 1991. 
Eugene enjoyed fishing, working on vehicles and just tinkering in his garage.

Survived by: children:  Ronald (Karen) Burner, Lansford, ND;   Bruce (Sandy) Burner, Burlington, ND;   Darlene (Daryl) Lindsey, Crosby, ND;   Gloria Burner, Minot, ND;   Beth Adams, Burnet, TX;   Lisa (Wes) Annable, Dickinson, ND, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Deloris.

Visitation:  Wednesday, November 9th, 2011 from 2:00-7:00 pm at Thompson Larson Funeral Home, Minot ND.

Funeral Service:  Thursday, November 10th, 2011 at 10:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church, Burlington, ND.

Graveside Service:  Thursday, November 10th, 2011 at 3:00 pm at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND
