Ruth Harriet Burgess • 1918- 2009 Ruth H. Anderson was born March 26, 1918, in Maddock, ND to Arthur and Mary (Johnson) Anderson. She attended Aurora Township School and later Benson County Ag School. On October 2, 1949 Ruth married Charles Burgess at York, ND. In 1952 they moved to Minot. Charles passed away on October 13, 1998. Ruth was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Minot. Those who shared in her life, daughter, Marilyn Lundeen, Minot; one grandson, Clarence Lundeen III; four great-grandchildren, Brock, Blake, Beau and Baylee Lundeen; sister, Norma Jacobson, Devils Lake, ND; brother, Victor (Beverly) Anderson, York, ND; several nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mary Anderson; sister, Hilda Hall, and brother, Arne Anderson. Funeral: Friday, October 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Minot, ND. Visitation: Friday, one hour prior to the service in the church. Burial: Friday at 4:00 p.m. at the Devils Lake Cemetery.
