Shallah (AKA "Snuffy") Diane Bunyard, 29, of Fargo, formerly of Minot, died Monday, January 1, 2007, at Innovis Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Shallah was born on February 2, 1977, in Ada, Oklahoma, the daughter of Bobby and Jen (Korgel) Bunyard. She graduated from Bishop Ryan High School in Minot, ND, in 1995. Shallah pursued a career in nursing as a CNA and began working in the field at Trinity Nursing Home in Minot. Later she became employed with ManorCare in Minot then transferred to Fargo when she and Jen relocated. She was employed with ManorCare for a total of 10 years. Shallah possessed sincerity, patience and kindness in everything that she did in her field of nursing as well as caring for animals, especially her cat PD. She had a special interest in all types of music and movies with her favorites being Marilyn Monroe and James Dean. She and fiance', Jerry, loved to attend concerts and dance to all types of music. Shallah also had an avid collection of Dolphins.

Shallah is survived by her fiance', Jerry Santiago of Fargo, Jerry's children, Nina and Cody; her mother Jen Bunyard of Fargo; her father, Bobby Bunyard of Ada, OK; grandparents, Herschell and Peggy Bunyard of Eufaula, OK; sister, Rikki Bunyard of Minot, ND; aunts and uncles Diane (Danny) Schatz of Fargo, Don (Jane) Korgel of Minot, Lyle (Nancy) Korgel of Kennewick, WA; cousins, Shannon, Sheldon, and Jessica Korgel, Deanne and Ben Eisenschenk, Krista, Donny, Erica and Savanna Schatz and many close friends.

Shallah was preceded in death by her grandparents, Maynard and Helen Korgel.

Funeral: Saturday, January 6, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.

A funeral was held on Thursday at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
