Esther Emma (Tweet) Buee • 1915- 2006

Esther Emma (Tweet) Buee, 90, 3212 7th ST SW #13, Minot, ND, died Friday, June 16, 2006, at a Minot hospital.

She was born on November 21, 1915, in Velva, ND, the daughter of Elling and Emma (Sebo) Tweet. She was raised in Velva and graduated from Velva High School in 1933, and later attended Minot Business College. After receiving her degree, she went to work in Towner and Rugby and later moved to Minot where she worked for Nash Finch Company for several years.

Esther was united in marriage to Arthur Buee on April 19, 1948, in Billings, MT. The couple continued to live in Minot until 1951, when they moved to the family farm near Burlington, ND. Art died in March 13, 1989. After his death, Esther moved to Minot where she lived until the time of her death.

Esther enjoyed crafts and playing cards with her friends. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and barbeques at the farm.

Survivors: sons, Alfred (Vicky) Buee and Gary Buee all of Burlington; daughter, Karen (Dan) Fritz, Potsdam, NY; grandchildren, Jarid Buee, Burlington, Sherry Reierson, Justin Buee, Jessica Buee, Josh Buee all of Minot, Garth and Michael Fritz of Potsdam, NY and Aileen and Shannon Fritz, Jamestown, ND; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Hannah and Emma Buee, Brandon Reierson, Zane Buee and Kadyn Fritz; sister, Evelyn Luddington, Arvada, CO and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arthur, son, Arthur Buee Jr., sister, Marie Fix and brothers, Kenneth and Donald Tweet.

Funeral Service: Thursday, June 22, 2006, at 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, Minot

Visitation: Wednesday, June 21, 2006, from Noon until 7 p.m. Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Burial will take place at 2 p.m. at the Burlington Community Cemetery, Burlington.
