Eva worked as a housekeeper and later as a cook for the Elks, Little Flower School, Minot State College, and Flakey Crust, all in Minot. She retired in 1981 to take up a job she loved, baby-sitting the grandchildren.

She was very involved in Little Flower Catholic Church. Her favorite pastimes were gardening, reading, visiting and saying the Rosary. Her family will miss her tea and cookies.
