Laurella Faye Brown 1935 - 2003 Laurella Faye Brown, 68 of Berthold, made her journey into Heaven on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 in her home. Laurella was born June 8, 1935 in Berthold, to Ellard and Geneva (Ringoen) Bredahl. She lived on the family farm and was educated at Weber country school. She graduated from Berthold High School in 1953. In August of 1953, she married Richard Taylor. The couple made their home in Berthold and Minot. Richard passed away in 1965. On August 25, 1966, she married Jack Brown in Minot. They made their home in Berthold. Laurella worked at Tom's Bar and then for North Central Human Services as a home health care provider. Laurella's greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren and being with family. She enjoyed playing cards and going to Bingo, as well as tending to her garden and doing embroidery. She was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed high school sports. Survivors: Husband, Jack Brown, Berthold; sons, Les

Houston, TX; daughters, Roxey (Quinn) Ellingford, Evanston, WY,
and Amy (Dean) Pederson, Valley City, ND; mother, Geneva Bredahl,
Kenmare; nine grandchildren, Pamela, Megan and Holly Tysse, Hannah
and Lauren Ellingford, Mackenzie and Peyton Pederson, and Sabrina
and Dustin Coryell; three grandchildren, Hayden, Nolan and Bergen
Wilke; brother, Gene (Ellen) Bredahl, Berthold; sister, Sharon
Inman, Kenmare and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded
in death by her first husband, Richard Taylor, infant daughter,
Teri Lee, grandson, Lance Tysse, great-grandson, Glen Taylor,
father, Ellard Bredahl and brother, Bobbie Bredahl. Funeral: Monday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Berthold. Visitation: Saturday and Sunday from noon until 5:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home. Vigil prayer service: Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.
