Evelyn M. Brown 1917 - 2004 Evelyn M. Brown, 87, Des Lacs, ND, died Saturday, November 6, 2004, in a Minot hospital. Evelyn Mae Neshem was born on April 4, 1917, the daughter of Henry and Emma (Braseth) Neshem, in Grand Forks, ND. She was raised and educated in the Lonetree, ND, area and graduated from Lonetree High School in 1935. Evelyn was married to Oren Brown on August 8, 1939, in Glasgow, MT. Following their marriage, they returned to the Lonetree area. They moved to Des Lacs in 1946, where she assisted Oren with the daily operations of the family farm. Oren died on October 12, 1989. She has continued to reside in Des Lacs since. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Des Lacs and the Des Lacs Birthday Club. Evelyn enjoyed life. She loved to visit with her friends, and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving family includes: sons: Donn (Grace) Brown; and Allen
(Linda) Brown, both of Des Lacs; Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Hank and Gerald Neshem; and an infant sister, Frances Neshem. Funeral: Wednesday, November 10, 2004, at 10:30 a.m.
