Patricia A. Broten 1959 - 2010 Patricia A. Werlinger was born on July 25, 1959, a daughter of Floyd and Kathleen (Lesmeister) Werlinger in Harvey, ND. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Harvey, and graduated from Harvey High School in 1977. On November 27, 1982, she was united in marriage to Curtis Broten in Harvey. They made their home in various locations throughout North Dakota, where Patricia was a homemaker, settling in Minot in 1997. In 1999, she began working for Trinity Health in the Health Information Management Department. Patricia enjoyed her work at Trinity and was loved by her co-workers and all at the clinic. Patricia was a member of Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Church, Minot, where she was active in the St. Bridget’s Circle and Why Catholic. She was a former member of St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Harvey, ND. Patricia enjoyed reading, doing fill-it-in puzzles, playing board games with her daughters and walking with Curt. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandson Austin. For each Christmas, Patricia and her husband would shop year round to buy their three daughters the same present, only each one different. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed by all that knew her. Patricia will be remembered for her fighting spirit and infectious laugh. Those who shared in her life: Husband of 27 years Curtis, Minot; daughters: Rachel (Justin) Hust, Rebecca (fiancée Michael Rubbelke) Broten, Cassandra Broten, very special grandson Austin Hust; all in Bismarck; mother Kathleen Werlinger, Harvey, ND; mother-in-law Dorothy Broten, Niagara, ND; brothers: David Werlinger, Fargo, Robert (Shelley Sundberg) Werlinger, Fargo; sisters: Vickie (Dave) Richter, Bismarck, Sharon Werlinger, Fort Worth, TX, Debbie (Howard) Burnett, Vacaville, CA; special sister-in-law Joanne Roblewsky, Minot, special neighbor Addison Widdel, Minot, and former neighbors Louis (Gail) Martell, Boston, MA; Numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Patricia was preceded in death by her father Floyd. Visitation: Tuesday, February 2, 2010 from noon until 7 pm at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot Vigil Prayer Service: Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 7 pm at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot Mass of Christian Burial: Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 10:30 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot Burial: A private burial will take place at a later date.
