Brady James Brekhus 1981 - 2005

Brady James Brekhus, 24, Kenmare, ND, died Tuesday, December 6, 2005, in a Kenmare hospital.

He was born on May 1, 1981, in Kenmare, the son of Steven and Reva (Marmon) Brekhus. He was reared in Kenmare and confirmed at Nazareth Lutheran Church.

He graduated from Dakota Memorial High School in 1999, and after graduation he moved back to Kenmare. In 2003, he moved to Rocksprings, WY, until 2004, when he moved back to Kenmare with his family where he was currently employed at Pioneer Drilling in Kenmare. Brady's mother, Reva died on September 15, 1996, in Kenmare.

Brady loved to play Texas Holdem.

He was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church, Kenmare.

Survivors: fiancée, Tonya Peterson, sons, Damien and Axle Brekhus, and Aiden Bossingham, father, Steven (Janice) Brekhus, all of Kenmare; sisters, Brandy Schmidt, Wahpeton, ND and Randi Brekhus, Kenmare; brothers, Jason Brekhus, Fargo, ND and Greg Brekhus, Bismarck, ND, maternal grandmother, Louise Larson, Kenmare; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Harley, mother, Reva and maternal grandfather, Frank Marmon, paternal grandparents, Art and Garnett Brekhus and his great grandparents.

Funeral Service: Saturday, December 10, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Kenmare.

Visitation: Friday, December 9, 2005, from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson funeral Home, Kenmare.

Burial will take place at 3 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.
