Victoria Bradley 1920 - 2011

Victoria Bradley PhotoVictoria Bradley, 91, Minot, ND, died Saturday, December 31, 2011, in a Minot hospital.

Victoria S. “Vicky” Fjeldahl was born March 7, 1920, a daughter of Olaf and Karen (Finbak) Fjeldahl, on the family farm south of Berthold. She was raised and educated in Berthold. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Berthold.

Vicky married Ivan L. Bradley August 16, 1941, in Sidney, MT. They made their home on the Rakness farm west of Minot, where they farmed small grains for a time. In the mid 1940’s, they moved to Minot, where Vicky worked for P.W. Miller as a sales clerk for a number of years. She later worked for JC Penney as a sales clerk for a number of years. She was also employed by the   Green Thumb Program at Milton Young Towers for a time. Ivan passed away May 29, 1978.

She was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church in Minot.

She enjoyed baking, playing cards, and her flowers. She also enjoyed visiting with people. She especially enjoyed her family and family picnics and get togethers.

Surviving family includes:  son, Barney Bradley, Minot; son-in-law, Jim Primmer;  
grandchildren, Todd (Carol) Primmer, Angie (Troy) Brown, and Nichole Primmer and her fiance, Nate Townsend; great-grandchildren, Paige and Levi Primmer; Jordan and Paxton Brown; Madison Primmer and Taylor Townsend; and numerous nieces, and nephews.

Vicky was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ivan; an infant son; daughter, Karen Primmer; brothers, Nels (Gladys) Fjeldahl, Louie (Marion) Fjeldahl, and Walter Fjeldahl; and sisters, Clara (Bill) Edwards, Emelia “Toots” (Melvin) Pederson, Annie Fjeldahl, and Delia Fjeldahl.

Funeral: Thursday, January 5, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Bread of Life Lutheran Church, Minot.

Interment:
  Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.

Visitation: 
Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
