Rosella Bradley 1915 - 2010 Rosella G. Bloms was born October 18, 1915, a daughter of John and Margaret (Keller) Bloms, on the family farm near Foxholm, ND. She was reared on the family farm in Muskego Township, Renville County, and attended a rural school in that area. Rosella married Francis F. Bradley January 5, 1942, in Sidney, Montana. To this union, a daughter, Connie, was born in 1947. While Francis was serving his four years in the Army in the South Pacific, she lived in Minot, working at Shirley’s Grocery Store. Following Francis’s honorable discharge, they moved to a farm near Lansford, ND. Francis passed away August 5, 1963. Following her husband’s death, she and her daughter, Connie, moved to Minot, where Rosella worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital as a certified nursing aide for seven years and then as a ward clerk for 14 years. She retired in 1985. She lived in numerous places in Minot and enjoyed five years living at Somerset Court before moving to Trinity Homes in July of 2008. She was a former member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Lansford, where she was active in St. John’s Altar Society. She was also a former member of Little Flower Catholic Church, and St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Minot, where she was active in the Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She was currently a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Minot. Her loving family includes: son-in-law, Daniel Lester, Minot; brothers, Martin (Alice) Bloms, Grand Forks, ND, Clarence (Lorraine) Bloms, Mohall; sister, Bernice Redding, Minot; sisters-in-law, Mary Bloms, Minot, Marise Bloms, Minot, Garnet Bloms, Carpio, and Sally Linnertz, Minot; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
