Clyde Bradley 1911 - 2004

Clyde Bradley, 92, 1900 28th Ave SW, Minot, died Sunday in a Minot nursing home.

He was born November 12, 1911, in Minnesota, to Dave and Isabella Bradley. He was reared and educated in Minnesota. On May 6, 1939, he married Edna Marzolf. Clyde served in the United States Army Band in Europe, during World War II.

He was a musical instrument repairman for many years. He loved kids and often fixed their musical instruments for free. He continued working into his 80's. His wife preceded him in death in February of 1976.

Clyde resided at Somerset Court since August of 2000 . He loved his life there and often played practical jokes on friends and visitors. He was also a noted Poet in Residence at Somerset Court and published poems in their monthly newsletter. In July of 2003, 1000 of his poems were bound into a book and presented to the Minot Public Library.

He was a Jazz musician and performed with many jazz bands throughout the mid-west. He was also a member of the Minot Elks Band.

Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Judith R. and Dr. John C. Gustafson, Harvard, MA; granddaughters, Elizabeth Gustafson, Hood River, OR and Catherine Campbell, Kirkland, WA and great-granddaughter, Sydnee Campbell (6 weeks) of Kirkland, WA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna; son, Dave in February 2000 and his parents.

Visitation: Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

No services. Private burial will take place at Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.

Memorials are preferred to the Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses and/or Abider's Ministry at ManorCare, both of Minot.
