Steven C. Bovee Jr. 1985 - 2005

Steven C. Bovee Jr., 19, 905 15th Ave. SE, Minot, died Monday, June 20, 2005, in a Minot Hospital.

Steve was born in Minot on November 17, 1985, the son of Steven and Susan (Parizek) Bovee. He was reared and educated in the Minot area, attending schools at Perkett Elementary, Jim Hill Middle School, and graduating from Minot High School in May of 2004.

Steve worked for Johnson Roofing for a time, and was employed as a laborer for Mattson Construction Company in Minot at the time of his death.

Steve enjoyed hanging out with friends and visiting his family's lake cabin near Douglas Bay, on Lake Sakakawea. He also enjoyed snowboarding, hunting pheasants, riding
jet-ski, playing soccer and hockey.

Steve was a member of the MHS varsity soccer team, and a member of the Minot Hockey team. He had a warm smile and a hug for everyone he came across. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Steve is survived by: Parents, Steven Craig Sr. and Susan Kae, Minot: Sister: Kami Jane and her fiancé, Daniel Roberts, Minot: Grandparents: Charles Avery (Mary Jane) Bovee, Minot; Mildred Elizabeth Sorg, Minot, and Donald Leroy (Shirley) Parizek, Minot: Girl friend: Michaela Lysne, Minot
Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by: his uncles Michael Arlin Sorg and Jeffrey Gene Wood.

Visitation: There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign a register book Wednesday, June 22, 2005, from noon until 7:00 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Memorial Service: Thursday, June 23, 2005 at 10:00 at First Lutheran Church, Minot

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot
