Mildred Boser 1940 - 2010 Selena Mildred “Millie” Villneauve was born July 11, 1940, in Dunseith, ND. She was the seventh born of eleven children to Alfred and Rachel (St. Clair) Villneauve. She was raised and educated in Dunseith. She did not graduate from a high school, but later attained her G.E.D. Millie married Paul Little when she was 18 years old. From this union, two children were born, Roxanne and Timothy. They lived in Arizona, where she picked vegetables, then Minneapolis, MN, where she worked as a cook for a while before moving back to Dunseith. They were later divorced. Millie married Henry Boser in 1963. From this union, six children were born, Melissa, Shannon, Troy, Todd, Jerrod, and Loris. Millie worked as a waitress and as a housekeeper in Minot, and later as a caregiver in Burlington, before staying home to take care of her children. Henry passed away in 1980, and she continued to care for her children on her own and later, raised her grandson, Sky Boser. Our mom was a very kind and giving person. If someone needed help, mom was always ready and willing to help. She was a strong woman, who was full of life and loved to laugh. She enjoyed traveling, and visiting with her many friends. Her loving family includes: children, Roxanne Little Goettle, Minot, Melissa (Terry) Nass, Minot, Shannon (Becky) Boser, Rosebud, SD, Troy Boser, Minot, Todd Boser, Minot, Jerrod Boser, Minot, Loris (Mark) Vincent, Crestview, FL; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, brothers, Edward (Connie) Villneauve, Minneapolis, MN, and Cletus Villneauve, Rolette, ND; sisters, Telephine DeCoteau, Dunseith, Leona Gooden, Belcourt, and Loretta Jean Marie Villneauve; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
