Edward Bosch 1926 - 2002

Edward Bosch, 76, 2520 2nd Ave SW, Minot, died in Aurora CO in a Rehab hospital on Monday, April 8, 2002

Edward was born on February 18, 1926 in Tunbridge, ND to Simon and Francis (Hoffert) Bosch. The family farmed in the Knox, ND area. He served during WWII in the Navy from 1944-47. Upon his discharge from the Navy he attended Minot State College and graduated 1951 and taught a year of high school English in Stanton, ND. He graduated from UND law school in l954, moved to Minot and began working for Farmers Insurance Group. He began his law practice in 1958. He served as Minot City Attorney for several years, and in the early 60's ran for Ward County States Attorney. Ed taught a history class at Minot State in about 58.

Edward was once married to Adele Heidlebaugh, now Hager, in 1948. He was a member of the Elks, Eagles, Loyal Order of Moose, American Legion, VFW, St John the Apostle Catholic Church all of Minot.

He is survived by his children, Kent and his wife, Brenda, Littleton, Colorado, Colin and his wife, Holly, Phoenix, Arizona, Kimberly Brown and her husband, Carey, Littleton, Colorado, Kendall and his wife, Kitty, Galveston, Texas, and Carter, Minot, ND. Grandchildren: Shawn, Shannon Brown of Minot and Jared Brown, UND, Grand Forks, Paul Brown, Colorado Springs, Ryan and Melanie Bosch, Littleton, Colorado and Virginia Boyle, Morgantown, W Va. and George Sensabough, Phoenix. He has one great granddaughter, Shelby Boyle, Morgantown, W Va. He is also survived by his siblings, brothers: Joseph, Minot, Leo, Detroit Lakes, Mn, George, Seattle, Wa. Robert, Knox, ND and sisters: Elizabeth Miltenberger and Darlene Zacher, Rugby, Lena Bosch, Minot and Helen Frech, Gilbert, Az. He had three siblings who preceded him in death; Margaret McClain, Minot, Peter Bosch, and Lenard, Knox.

Funeral: 11 a.m. on Monday, April 15, 2002 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Minot, ND

Prayer Service: Sunday at 5p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot

Visitation: Saturday and Sunday from noon until 5 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
