Loren D. Bomstad • 1924 - 2011 Loren Duane Bomstad was born September 16, 1924 in Kenmare, ND to Martin and Edith (Nordstrom) Bomstad. Loren entered the United States Army on July 23, 1943 and served during World War II. He was honorably discharged on December 5, 1945 and returned to Kenmare, ND, where he was a life-long resident. Those who shared in his life, children, Lenna Kinch, Debra Canady and Lonnie (Patsy) Bomstad, all of Missouri; two grandchildren, Sean Cooper of Arkansas and Blake Bomstad of Missouri. Loren was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Edith and two brothers, Allen and Marlyn Bomstad.
