Ralph Boisjolie 1925 - 2010
Ralph Boisjolie, 85, Minot, ND, died Sunday, March 21, 2010, at ManorCare in Minot.
Ralph Oumand Boisjolie was born January 22, 1925, a son of Eugene J. and Laura A. (Marchand) Boisjolie, in Binford, ND. He was raised on the family farm near Durbin, ND. He and his family moved to Everest in 1944 and in 1955, they moved to Casselton.
Ralph was employed with the Northern Pacific Railroad where he worked as a section worker for over 20 years. Ralph and his brother, Ovid, moved to Minot in 1991. He had resided at ManorCare for the last four years.
He was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Minot. Ralph loved gardening and doing his yardwork.
Surviving family includes:
brother, Ovid Boisjolie, Minot; sister, Jeanette Jenson; nieces and nephews, Brenda (Jim) Larsen, Neil (Sharon) Jenson, and Kipp (Laurie) Jenson, all of Minot, Curt Boisjolie, Fargo, and Jennell (Ray) Johnston, Austin, Texas.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Lloyd and Chester.
Mass of Christian Burial: Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at noon at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.
Visitation: Tuesday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
Vigil Prayer Service: Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials: are preferred to American Cancer Society, Dakota Boys Ranch, or the Salvation Army.
