Carol Jeanne Bohn 1933 - 2007 Carol was born on February 6, 1933 in Minot, ND a daughter of Lloyd and Mabel (Ross) Wilhelm. She was raised and attended Minot Model and graduated from Minot High School in 1951. The following fall, on November 20, 1951 she married James Bohn at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Minot. In her early years of marriage, Carol focused her attention on her family. Carol and James were blessed with six children and Carol was active in their educations and interests. After her children were raised, Carol became a very active part in Jim's wholesale furniture representative business. She was active with Jim covering the territory which included North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Minnesota and across Canada. Carol represented Jim's furniture manufacturers at the Dallas and Minneapolis home furnishing markets. Carol traveled with Jim to all of his dealers' stores and hosted industry-wide party every year in Minneapolis, originated and organized by Carol and Jim, that was open to all involved in the furniture industry. She continued traveling with Jim until this past year, when illness prevented her from doing so. From the time that her children were young, Carol, Jim and their family enjoyed their time away from work at the family cabin at Lake Metigoshe. Carol especially enjoyed taking her two pet dogs, Tasha and Tanya, along to the lake with them. The two dogs were very important in Carol's life. Carol cherished her community at First Lutheran Church in Minot. She served on the church council, helped with home communion for shut-ins and served as a deaconess of the church. She made visits to shut-ins at their homes, to the nursing homes and to the hospital.
