Boehm 1923 - 2005 Marian "Mary" Boehm, 82, Karlsruhe, ND, died Wednesday, August 3, 2005, at a Minot hospital. Marian Bohl was born on February 25, 1923, the daughter of Xavier and Magdalena (Axtman) Bohl on the family farm located near Orin, North Dakota. She attended Sanddale Township Unorganized School District in Pierce County. Following her education, she assisted her parents with the operation of the family farm. Mary was married to Joseph J. Boehm on October 28, 1946, in Fulda, ND. They farmed and ranched in Villard Township of McHenry County, North Dakota. She also drove bus in Karlsruhe for many years. Joseph passed away on November 14, 1988. On December 14, 1990, she married Chris Bachmeier at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Karlsruhe. They made their home in Karlsruhe, where she was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and its Christian Mother's group. She worked for the Towner Nursery until 2004. Mary enjoyed gardening, flowers, teapots, dolls, bowling, traveling, dancing, especially the Polka. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to quilt, as her quilts were shipped throughout the United States. Surviving family includes: husband, Chris Bachmeier, Karlsruhe, children, Kenneth (Tamra) Boehm, Minneapolis, MN, Allen (Donna) Boehm, Pick City, Gary (Mary) Boehm, Minot, David (Elaine) Boehm, Karlsruhe, Ernie Boehm, Granville, Lynn Boehm, Minot, Vernon (Karla) Boehm, Beulah, Daniel (Teresa) Boehm, Karlsruhe; grandchildren, Mike and Amy Boehm, Tracey, Jessie, and Tricia Boehm; Tracee and Troy Madl; Darin and Danielle Boehm, Lacey, Brandon, and Brooke Boehm, Cameron Clark, Kelsi and Lakin Boehm, and Whitney, Ethan, Dalton, and Isaac Boehm; brothers, Frank (Christina) Bohl, Fort Benton, MT, Joseph Bohl, North Ridgeland Hill, TX, Andrew (Mildred) Bohl, Great Falls, MT, and Peter (Roseanna) Bohl, Suisun City, CA; sisters, Lena (Phillip) Schmidt, Minot, Amelia Ducy, New Prospective, IL, Barbara Rectenwald, Lemon Grove, CA, Margaret (Duane) Williamson, Pennsacola, FL, Theresa Burnwood, Oklahoma City, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
