Michael "Mike"
Boehm 1921 - 2004 Michael Stanislaus Boehm, was born May 4, 1921 on the family farm to Frank and Eva (Wald) Boehm. He attended Sts. Peter and Paul Parochial School until the 7th grade, when he moved to public school. After completion of the 8th grade, he assisted his father in operation of the farm. Mike enlisted in the US Army on September 3, 1942. He proudly
served his country during WWII in the Battle of the Bulge. Early
in his military career, he would take a leave of absence to assist
his father with fall harvest. While in the service, he served
as an Artilleryman, as well as a Marksman. He was honorably discharged
on November 7, 1945. Michael had many hobbies, including hunting, and fishing. As a young man, he loved his horses, participating in the rodeos. He also enjoyed playing his harmonica and guitar in the "Karlsruhe 5." He was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Karlsruhe, where he was baptized and confirmed. He is survived by: sisters, Rose Boehm, Minot, Claire Boechler,
Karlsruhe, He was preceded in death by his parents, Special friend and companion, Dorothy Hegle. Sisters , Betty Krimm, Regina Ganje, Marie McNamara, Ann Zerr; Brothers, John Boehm and Joe Boehm. Mass of Christian Burial: Wednesday, July 28, 2004,
