Florence Bjorgan • 1909 - 2007

Florence Bjorgan, 98, Kenmare, died Thursday, May 24, 2007 in the Kenmare Hospital.

Florence was born on March 21, 1909, the daughter of Arthur and Amelia (Nordstrom) Nelson in Norma, ND. Florence was raised on a farm near Norma, ND, attending grade school in Norma, high school in Kenmare, and one year of nursing.

On August 6, 1929 she married Adolph "Fred" Bjorgan. She worked for several years at the Kenmare Hospital as a nurse's aide and was active in many areas of services at her church. Florence enjoyed being a homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. Adolph died in 1992. Following his death, Florence continued to live in Kenmare.

Family was everything to her and it showed in the special acts of love she bestowed on them. The favorite cookies she would make for her grandchildren on their birthdays, the laughter over a cup of tea with her daughter, and the look of pride that came across her face when she talked about her sons.

Visitation: Thursday, May 31, 2007 from 1:00 until service time at the Faith Baptist Church, Kenmare, ND

Funeral Service: Thursday, My 31, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, Kenmare, ND

Burial: Lakeview Cemetery, Kenmare, ND

Those Who Shared In Her Life: Her children, Ken Bjorgan and his wife Jean of Lewiston, NY, Linda Churchill and her husband Chuck of Rural Hall, NC and Bob Bjorgan of Kenmare/Bowbells, ND: grandchildren Sharon Kulp, Dale Miller, Andres Moreno Jr and his wife Marie, Vicky Moreno, Rebecca Moreno-Adam and her husband John, and Cory Moreno. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and a sister Ferol Rairdon, Freemont, CA.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Timothy Paul Moreno, two brothers and three sisters.
