Holly Bickler • 1946 - 2006 Holly Bickler, 59, Garrison, ND, formerly of Velva, ND, died Saturday, March 4, 2006, in the Garrison hospital. She was born on April 8, 1946, in Rugby, ND, the daughter of Ed and Ruth (Berdahl) Bickler. Holly was raised in Velva and in 1958, she moved to the Grafton, ND, where she lived at the Grafton State School. In 1984, she moved to Minot and lived at the Minot Vocational Residency and since 2002, she resided at the Garrison Nursing Home. Holly was the happiest of people and loved by all who met her. She was a special addition to the Bickler family and will be dearly missed. She loved music, dancing, hugs, smiles and especially swimming at Strawberry Lake. Survivors: mother, Ruth, Velva; brother, Greg (Barb) Bickler, Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Carol Bickler, Velva; two nieces; two nephews; one great niece and three great nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ed. Memorial Service: Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at 10 a.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Velva Friends may sign a register book one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place and burial of the cremains will take place in the spring of 2006 at the Velva Community Cemetery, Velva, ND. Officiant: Rev.
