Edna was born on April 21, 1921, in McVille, ND, the daughter of Ole and Alma (Lund) Mygland. Edna moved with her parents to Lakota, ND where she attended school. Edna worked as a waitress in Fargo and Grand Forks and in 1953 she moved back to Lakota where she met the love of her life, Ray. Edna and Ray were married on October 31, 1953, in Devils Lake, ND, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Edna and Ray moved to Minot in 1953 and in 1957, moved into the home where they were currently living.

Those Who Shared In Her Life
Husband of 53 years, Ray, Minot; children, Bill Bibow, Portland, OR, Kerry (Jerry) Hansen, Bruce (Val) Bibow, all of Minot, and Kim (Rob) Petershack, Madison, WI; grandchildren, Sarah (Corey) Ell, Amanda Bibow, Michael Bibow, Kristen Hansen and her fiancé, Nate Johnston, and Robert Hansen; great-granddaughter, Caitlyn; sister, Lorraine (Jim) Legacie, Edmore, ND; sister-in-law, Lillian Mygland, Waukegan, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Orris and Raymond Mygland and infant brother, David.

Mom's life was her family. She always considered it a "priviledge" to baby-sit all of her grandchildren and great-grand daughter. Anytime spent with her family was so
special and she always commented that she was "twice-blessed" with all their love. It
meant the world to her to have us all home together, laughing and sharing all of our
memories. She always said she was "100 lbs of Dynamite". She was the eternal optimist,
always found the good in everyone and enjoyed life's celebrations, especially her 80th
Birthday, her 50th Wedding Anniversary , the50~' Anniversary of her church and
especially sharing her 86th birthday with her 6 year great-grand daughter, Caitlyn.
She considered herself so fortunate that her & dad had each other and that they
could still be in their own home, it was a wonderful life that she always treasured. Never
complaining, she always refered to any aches & pains as "priviledges of growing old".
Mom's strength came from her faith and nobody believed more in the power of prayer
Her church family was her second family. She always cherished the special ladies
of Elizabeth Circle, enjoyed Bible Study at the Greenhouse, serving snacks at VBS and
always involved in a work group. She was so proud of her & dad being Charter Members
of St Marks. One of her greatest joys was filling a church pew with her family.
Mom never wanted to say goodbye, it was always "talk to you later" and "love
you a bunch".
Thanks mom for your strength, courage and your unconditional love. We will see
you again in the beauty of heaven.

LOVE YOU
Ray, the love of your life for 53 years, and your loving family.
