Loren D. Berg Sr. • 1955 - 2009 Loren D. Berg was born on June 30, 1955, a son of Allen and Ardell (St. Croix) Berg in Kenmare, ND. He was raised and educated in Donnybrook and Seattle, WA, graduating from high school in Seattle. Following his graduation, Loren began working for A. O. Smith Company, building hot water heaters. On December 18, 1977, he was united in marriage to Mary Ann Riley. From this union two children were born, Loren Jr. and Angelique. Loren enjoyed working in his garden, woodworking, hunting, fishing and riding his 4- wheeler. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, son and friend who will be missed by all that knew him. Those who shared his life: Daughter: Angelique (Sean) Arnett, Minot; son: Loren D. (Joyce) Berg, Minot; son: Gabe White, Kansas City, KS; four grandchildren: Laura, Austin, Michael and Zackery; Mother Ardell Berg, Donnybrook; sister: Debra Kurbink, and her children Matthew and Kristin, Seattle, WA; brothers: Harlan J. Berg, and his children Crystal and Brenda, Donnybrook, Duane (Faye) and their daughter Briana Berg, Seattle, WA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Loren was preceded in death by his father Allen. Graveside service: Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 10:30 am at Rosehill Cemetery, Stafford Township, Norma, ND. Officiant: Rev. Kathy Hammond, United Methodist Church, Donnybrook, ND Music Honorary Bearers: Loren's family and friends Immediately following the graveside service, everyone is invited to join the family for lunch and fellowship at the Berg home in Donnybrook.
