She attended Minot State University. On January 3, 1998 she married Todd Behm in Minot. They made their home in Minot and started a family having two wonderful children Ethan and Avery. Amazing, beautiful, courageous and kind are only a few of the qualities that we all love about Chandie. Amazing mother and wife is what everyone would say. Her boys were the ultimate joy in her life. Every little kiss and every little hug put a smile in each of their hearts. Being a mother and father was the best gift they shared together. It was also the only thing she ever wished for. As a family, they would spend many endless summer days at the lake playing till their hearts content. Her most favorite time was in the morning when the family would go down to the water when it was peaceful and quiet. Hearing the precious sounds of her two boys laughing and playing in the sand by her side. She always felt at peace and relaxed being at the lake. Her other passion was planting as many flowers as she could to enjoy the beautiful colors and aromas that would fill the air. Her favorite flower and smell is peony. She grew the most amazing peonies in the world. She would surround herself with these beautiful flowers all summer long. Her flowers were her sanctuary .her place of calm. An absolute beauty. She could light up a room with her movie star smile. Her laugh was contagious and her eyes were an open door to her heart. Chandie had the kindest heart in the world. She had an unconditional love for everyone and everything in her life. Her unfathomable courage and strength is a legacy she leaves for all of us. She battled cancer for so many years, yet she never complained or felt pity for herself. She just made the very best of her situation and lived everyday to its fullest. She's a woman to idolize and cherish. Just being with her makes you want to be a better person. She loved so much and was loved by so many. A wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. We love her so much and will feel at peace knowing that she will always be watching over us. In our hearts forever Chandie~We Love You. Chandra was a member of First Lutheran Church, Minot.
