Jason Alan Becker • 1976 - 2007

Jason Alan Becker, 30, Austin, Texas, formerly of Minot, died Saturday, March 24, 2007 in Austin as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Jason was born on August 4, 1976, in Minot, ND, the son of Gary and Shelley (Bakk) Becker. He graduated from Minot High School in May of 1994. After attending Minot State University, he moved to Grand Forks, ND then Fargo, ND and finally to Austin, Texas in May of 2000, where he worked in the sales and mortgage fields.

Jason was interested in all things sports related, and loved spending time with friends. He was surrounded by loving family and will be greatly missed by his many friends in Texas.

Surviving members of the family include his mother, Shelley Becker, Minot, ND; Paternal grandmother, Marian (Darrell) Gust, LaCrosse, WI; uncles , Michael (Liz) Bakk, Minot; Paul (Joanne) Becker, Belle Mead, New Jersey, Victor (Julie) Becker, Apple Valley, MN; aunts: Laurie (Orlan "Ole") Honadel, Minot, ND; Sheryl (Wayne) Henderson, Galesville, Wisc., Sharyn (John) Elstad, Lakeville, MN; cousins: Shawn (Kausha) Bakk and Adriana, Lindsay Bakk all of Minot; Kara, Sean and Bryce Becker, Kelly (Andy) Jacobs and Alexis and Shauna, Blake Henderson; John, Casey and Brian Elstad.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Gary, his paternal grandfather, Alton Becker and his maternal grandparents, Harold and Leota Bakk.

Memorial Service: Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Nursing Home Chapel, Minot, ND

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND

Visitation: Wednesday, March 28, 2007 from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND.

Memorials are preferred to the Donor's choice.
