Janice Bauer 1934 - 2005 Janice Bauer, 71, 1636 10th St. SW, Minot, died Thursday, August 18, 2005 in her home. Janice Mary Bevers was born on January 16, 1934, the daughter of Frank and Bertha (Broneske) Bevers on the family farm near Max, North Dakota. She was raised and educated in the Max area, and graduated from Max High School in 1951. She then attended Minot Business College. Janice was united in marriage to Dale Bauer on February 10, 1952, at Hope Lutheran Church, rural Sawyer. Following their marriage the couple made their home in the Max area. They farmed in Iota Flat Township of Ward County until 1956, when they moved to Minot. She was employed by the Parker Hotel as a Banquet Hostess. She then worked for Sears as a division manager from 1964 to 1989, when she retired. Most recently she was employed by Herbergers as a sales associate from 2002 to 2005. Janice was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Minot, Women of the Moose, Eagles Aerie, Elks, Sears Retiree Group, and Cancer Support Group of Minot. Janice enjoyed traveling, sight seeing, cooking, and baking for the holidays, and visiting family and friends. Surviving family includes: husband of 53 years, Dale, Minot, ND; son, Terry (Roxanne) Bauer, Fargo; daughter, Sherry Hanks, Minot; grandchildren, Cherish Reich, Travis White, Jesse White, Lacey Bauer and Saphire Hein, great-grandchildren, Korwynn Brown, Jacob Reich, and Enias White, sister, Betty Marshall, Arlington, TX, and 5 nieces, 4 nephews. Janice was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lita Albus. Funeral: Tuesday, August 23, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at
