Catlin James Bartuska was born November 25, 1990 in Minot, ND a son of Mike and Carla (Brekhus) Bartuska. He attended Des Lacs/Burlington High School where he was currently a senior and was Senior Class President. There he was active in football and baseball, but enjoyed all sports. Catlin was a fun loving kid who enjoyed being with his family and friends and spending time with his girlfriend Amanda. He worked summers at Valleyview Falls Mini-Golf-Go Cart in Minot. He always strived to be the best and never got sidetracked. He was always willing to help anyone. He loved his younger sister, Courtney and his younger brother, Colton. Catlin enjoyed playing Xbox 360 with his younger brother and he loved to get together with his friends for a good game of poker. He also enjoyed hunting geese and deer with his dad and friends, and rumor has it, he was a better shot than his dad.

At difficult times like these we need our family and friends to come together, not only to grieve Catlin's death, but to share memories and keep his spirit alive within all of us. He was one of a kind, a genuine caring person with a heart of gold who will be deeply missed.
