Carolle Bartsch 1939 - 2006 Carolle Bartsch, 67, 915 9th St. NW, Minot, died Tuesday, February 7, 2006 in a Minot hospital surrounded by her family. Carolle was born January 13, 1939 in Grenora, ND, the daughter of Floyd and Lillian (Tveten) Blomberg. She was raised in that area and graduated from Grenora High School. She attended Minot Business College. On October 25, 1958 she married Francis Bartsch in Drake, ND. Following their marriage they made their home in Minot. She worked for a time at Woolworth's and Newberry's Department Stores, both in Minot. She later worked at the John Moses Air Force Hospital in Minot as a group leader until it closed and then worked at the Minot Air Force Base Hospital. She was a group leader for 20 years until 1995 when she was forced to retire due to ill health. Carolle was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot, and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She was a very gentle and loving person and loved her family. Before her illness she loved sewing, baking, gardening and planting flowers. Following her illness she enjoyed all the visits from her neighbors and friends. Survivors: Husband, Francis, Minot; son, Larry Bartsch, Bismarck; daughter, Karen (Clark) Papineau, Minot; sister, Delores (Tony) Hendrickson, Williston; brothers, Marlo (Gloria) Blomberg and David (Dorothy) Blomberg, all of Williston, Wally (Carol) Blomberg, Fargo, Jim (Connie) Blomberg, Minot, and Al Blomberg, Fargo; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins survive. Carolle was preceded in death by her parents and one infant brother, Harley Donald Blomberg. Funeral: Saturday, February 11, 2006, at 10:30 a.m., at Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot, ND. Visitation and Rosary/prayer service: Visitation will be Friday, (today) from noon to 7:00 p.m. with the Rosary/prayer service at 7:00 p.m., all at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.
