Christopher D. Barnett 1962 - 2004

Christopher D. Barnett, 42, died Monday, September 6, 2004 in a boating accident on Lake Darling.

Christopher Dean Barnett, was born July 21, 1962 to David and Darlene (Esser) Barnett. He was reared and educated in the Des Lacs/Burlington area, graduating from Des Lacs High School in 1980. He served in the Navy for 4 years following high school.

Christopher was employed by Connole & Somerville Plumbing and Heating Inc for the last 10 years. He was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local No. 300.

Christopher was an avid fisherman, and especially enjoyed ice fishing. He loved spending time with his family. He was always lending a helping hand for anything that needed to be done. He will be greatly missed.

Surviving family includes: Parents, David and Darlene Barnett, Minot; brother Terry, Forest Lake MN; sister, Debbie (Terry) Pfau; niece, Brittany Pfau; nephew, Nicholas Pfau, Minot; grandmother, Barbara Esser, Minot. Many aunts and uncles also survive.

He was preceded in death by; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Ruth Barnett: maternal grandfather, Lawrence Esser.

Funeral Service: Saturday, September 11, 2004 at 10:30 am, at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot.

Visitation: Friday, September 10, 2004 from noon to 7:00 pm at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot with the

Vigil prayer service: at 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
