Ramona Edinger Anderson 1928 - 2005

Ramona Edinger Anderson, 76, Minot, died Monday, February 28, 2005, in a Minot hospital.

Ramona was born December 3, 1928 at rural Heaton, North Dakota, the only daughter of William and Lillian (Hagen) Edinger. She received her education in Berlin Township and Heaton High School. She worked for the Wells County Judge in Fessenden, ND for several years before she moved to Minot to work as a bookkeeper for Brays Cleaners. She married Sherman E. Anderson of Carpio, ND on March 16, 1952 at Heaton. They farmed and ranched at their farm north of Carpio.

Sherman died June 7, 1979. She lost her best friend and soul mate

They were former members of the Grano Methodist Church, until it closed in 1965 when the family transferred to the Carpio Lutheran Church. She was a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher for 20 years. She was a charter member of the Bread of Life Church in Minot where she was on the Building Committee. She joined Vincent United Methodist Church in October of 1995 where she was on the Board of Trustees and Worship Committee. She has also done a lot of volunteering, which gave her great joy.

She is survived by one daughter, Rhonda R (Cordell) Bugbee of Minot, and two sons, Rick S. (Kathy) on the family farm at Carpio, and Randy W. of Minot. Two very special grandchildren, Jennifer K Anderson and her fiancé, Britt Sullivan of Omaha, NE and Jesse R Anderson of Fargo ND. One brother Eugene of Arizona and one sister-in-law Charlotte Edinger of Omaha, NE, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Dallas (Dutch).

Memorial Service: Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at 11:00 a.m., at Vincent United Methodist Church, Minot, ND.

Visitation: There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign the register Tuesday, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., and Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial: A private burial will be held at Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.

Memorials are preferred to the Vincent United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
