Geneva Anderson • 1925 - 2008 Geneva was born on February 21, 1925, a daughter of Fredrick and Kathrine (Kries) Schepp of Newburg, ND. She attended Newburg schools, graduating from Newburg High School in 1943. She worked at Tonneson's Store and Newburg CO-OP Elevator. On August 22, 1948, she married Lawrence (Dougie) Anderson at Dovre Lutheran Church, Newburg. They lived and farmed in Pratt Township, McHenry County for 59 years. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, baking, canning and working with her husband on the farm. Geneva's greatest joy was her four grandchildren. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Upham and the LWML of the church. She also belonged to the Busy Bee Homemakers, the area women's birthday club and was treasurer of Pratt Township for 28 years. Survivors: Husband, Lawrence (Dougie) Anderson, Newburg; children, Cindy Anderson, Colorado Springs, CO, Greg Anderson, Minot and Kathy (Steve) Brandt, Bottineau, ND; four grandchildren, Dustin and Derek Anderson, Minot; Ashley Brandt, Minot and Tyson Brandt, Bottineau; two sisters, Alvina Melgaard, Minot, Lillian Mettler, Colorado Springs, CO; sister-in-law, Janice Schepp, Newburg. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, Albert, Henry, Eddie, Alvin, John, Freddie Schepp and an infant brother and three sisters, Tillie Schutlz, Esther Pfeifle and an infant sister. Funeral: Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Upham. Burial: Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Upham Visitation: Friday, July 18, 2008 from noon until 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND Officiant: Rev.
