Raymond Willie Amrein • 1955 - 2006 Raymond Willie Amrein, 78, 18 5th ST NE, Minot, died Friday, March 10, 2006, in a Minot hospital. Ray was born on September 8, 1927, in Carpio, ND, the son of William and Mary (Talley) Amrein. He was raised and educated in Waterford Township, ND. Ray married Donna Mae Hulberg on February 13, 1955, in Bismarck, ND. He drove cab for many years owning and operating Cruiser Cab Company in Minot from 1964 until 1975. Ray also drove bus for the Minot Commission on Aging. Ray loved to hunt with his son's and grandkids. He also enjoyed picnics. Survivors: wife of 51 years, Donna Mae, Minot; children, Billy Ray Amrein, Susan Manning, Sally (Jeff) Thoreson, and Sheryl Amrein all of Minot, Robert Amrein, Burlington, ND, and Sonja Rakness, Minot; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister, Mabel Hoiland, Minot, and sister-in-law, Kay Amrein, Minot; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary, brother, Chet, and one great- grandson, Tristen Rakness. Funeral Service: Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at 1p.m. Saron Lutheran Church, South Prairie, Minot, ND.
