Cole Michael Altringer 1986 - 2003

Cole Michael Altringer, 17, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, in a Minot Medical Center.

Cole was born January 2, 1986, in Minot, the son of Jay and Dyanne (Semmen) Altringer. He was reared and educated in Minot and just completed his junior year at Magic City Campus. In his younger days he was very active in swimming, soccer, basketball, wrestling and baseball. Cole was a very active outdoor person who loved hunting and fishing with his brother, Schan, his dad, his uncle, Lyle, and his many close school friends. Cole's love for the outdoors was so great that you always knew where he would be after school and on weekends, if he wasn't in a soccer tournament.

Cole's life was touched by all of his friends whom he loved and was loved by them. Because of his desire to always help others, his organs were donated, and now thanks to Cole, many other people will be able to live normal lives.

Cole is survived by his parents, Jay and Dyanne Altringer, Minot; brother, Schan Altringer, Minot; grandfather, Harvey Altringer, Henderson, NV; grandmother, Merna Semmen, Minot; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Altringer, and his grandfather, Carl Semmen.
