Carel
M. Allen, 66, Minot, died Saturday, February 24, 2007 in her
home, she is now with the Lord and is at peace.Carel was born on September 28, 1940, the daughter of Edwin Patrick and Orlean (Baptiste) Krzebetkowski, in Vancouver, British Columbia. She was raised on the family farm near Sherwood, ND and attended school in Mohall. Carel worked at various food service jobs including the Mouse River Park and Carel's Corner Café. She also was an excellent cake maker. Baking cakes for all types of celebrations, including weddings and birthdays. Carel was a woman who was full of life and love for all that knew her. She loved to dance and be with people having fun. Carel enjoyed playing Bingo, and spending time with her flowers, butterflies and with animals big and small. Her smile was contagious and will be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by: Children: Sean L. (JoAnne Stroebel) Hopkins, Buffy Arneson, Cathy Pentz, Robyn Gimble, Chuck Kappes and family, Tim (Tammy) Kappes and family: grandchildren: Justin, Mason H., Dustin H., Isabella W. Chelsey, Ashley, Josten and Heston. brothers:, Edwin Patrick Krzebetkowski Jr., Daniel Krzebetkowski, Terry Krzebetkowski Michael Krzebetkowski; Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Carel was preceded in death by her parents and step mom, Clarice. Visitation: Thursday, March 1, 2007 from noon -7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot Funeral Service: Friday, March 2, 2007 at 1 p.m. at the River Of Life Assembly of God Church, Minot. Burial: A private family burial will take place at
