LeRoy Adam, 72, Minot, died Friday, December 7, 2007 in a Minot hospital.

LeRoy was born on July 29, 1935, the son of Edwin and Christina (Henke) Adam in Streeter, ND. He was raised in Montpelier, ND and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1953. He furthered his education at Valley City State College. In 1969, he moved to Minot and sold furniture for Tollefson's Furniture.

In 1959, LeRoy was united in marriage to Hilda Brown in Montpelier. To this union two children were born, Cheryl and Terry. The couple later divorced. On January 10, 1981, he was united in marriage to Beverly Newman in Minot. They made their home in Minot, where LeRoy worked in sales for Colbourn School Supply Company until 1989, when he went to work for Minot Public Schools driving bus. He also owned and operated a small first aid supply business. LeRoy and Bev enjoyed spending their summers at their cabin at the Mouse River Park. In 2007 he left Minot Public Schools and sold his business due to health reasons.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where he served as an usher for many years. LeRoy was also a past president with the Minot Eagles Lodge.

Surviving family:Wife, Bev, Minot; daughter, Cheryl (Perry) Colebank, Fort Collins, CO; sons, Gregory (Petra) Baehm, Chuck (Toni) Baehm, Todd Baehm, all of Minot; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Elton (Dorothy) Adam, Langdon, ND; sister, Elenora (Henry) Rogers, Lake Havasau City, AZ; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Terry and step-son, Roland "Skip" Baehm.

Visitation: Tuesday, December 11, 2007 from noon until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Funeral Service: Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Minot

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
