Donald A. Adam 1957 - 2003

Donald A. Adam, 45, 4900 37 Ave SE, Minot, died Sunday, January 5, 2003, at his residence.

Donald was born March 12, 1957, in Minot, ND, the son of Anton and Theresa (Volk) Adam. He was raised in Minot and attended Minot Public Schools. In 1974, he entered the United States Army, and served from 1974 through 1977. Following his honorable discharge from the Army, he returned to North Dakota. He started working at Midwest Motor Express/United Van Lines and worked there for 25 years as a truck driver. He was once married to Jackie Jundt.

Donald was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church in Minot. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding and training horses.

Donald is survived by his daughters, Brenda Adam and fiancé Christopher Aberle, Carpio, ND, and Rebecca Adam, Minot; mother, Theresa Adam, Minot; brothers, Allan Adam and wife, Linda, Minot, Bryon Adam and wife Diana, Minot, Kenneth Adam and wife Traci, Fargo, ND, Raymond Adam, Fargo, and Antone "Anthony" Adam, Billings, MT; sisters, Donna Adam, Fargo, Millie Straabe and husband Reid, Wallace, ID, Monica Buechler and husband Tim, Battle Creek, MI, Michelle Heilman and husband Bruce, Brainard, MN, Sue Venneberg and husband Carl, Bismarck, ND, Gail Ogden, Minot, and Connie Reishus and husband Mikel, Velva, ND; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. His father and grandparents preceded him in death.

Funeral: Wednesday, January 8, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot.

Visitation: Tuesday, January 7, 2003, from noon until 7:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Rosary and vigil prayer service: Tuesday, at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
